The Spark

I was drawn to English as a child not through schoolbooks, but through cartoons, music, and a desire to understand the world beyond me. I didn’t just want to learn English. I wanted to feel it.

The Struggle

I mimicked accents. I rapped. I rewound movie scenes. I sounded ridiculous and kept going. I wasn’t in an English-speaking world, so I built my own.

The Shift

Over time, I found myself thinking in English. It became a new way of seeing, not just speaking. And with it came confidence, clarity, and opportunity.
